Lesson Information

Above all else, instruction should be fun. The Ski and Snowboard instructors are trained and certified by the Canadian Ski Instructors (CSIA) and Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors (CASI). We will provide a safe learning environment while offering our students the opportunity to improve sport specific skills through a taylored progression. Please remember to factor in enough time to get through registration and rentals when considering lessons. This process usually takes around 30-45 minutes.

Lesson Levels

Learn to Turn  - First time on skis or a snowboard.

Level 1 -  Has started turning on beginner terrain.

Level 2 - Can link turns and manage speed on beginner to intermediate terrain.

Level 3 - Can link turns on intermediate to advanced terrain managing speed and direction.

For very advanced riders and sliders we recommend getting the most from a private lesson.

Snowboard Group lessons begin at age 8. Younger students require more specific attention and we recommend a private lesson. Please be aware that group lessons can have up to 10 people in them and although we do our best to meet the needs of everyone in the group, there can be a range of abilties develop within the lesson as it progresses.
